Fine and mild for much of central and southern Europe, windy and wet in the north


Tuesday
Plenty of dry weather across the continent and remaining generally very mild with south to southwesterly air prevailing. Some rain moves into Portugal and northwest Spain on strong southwesterly winds. Dry and warm for much of Spain, France and Italy with sunshine fairly widely. Much of the western Mediterranean will be dry. Local showers for Sicily and western Greece. Heavy and thundery downpours move east into Turkiye and areas around the Black Sea.
The Low Countries will be largely dry and mild. Some rain pushes east across Germany into western Poland. Mostly dry through the Alpine states into Hungary and the northern Balkans. A little rain in Czechia.
Mild with spells of rain for Scandinavia, most persistent for Norway and Denmark. Patchy drizzle for Sweden and the Baltic states. A little rain in western Finland, but mostly dry and cloudy.


Wednesday
Wet in Portugal, heavy periods of rain and these extending to northwest Spain too. For the rest of Spain it will be dry and fair. A fine and warm day for the central Mediterranean, extending into Italy and Greece. Some showers in eastern Turkey.
Cloud and patchy drizzle in western France but mostly dry, breezy and warm. Bright spells for the Low Countries, cloud and rain in the far north of Germany. Fair for most of Poland and Germany. Hungary and Austria will be dry and sunny. Staying dry too in Switzerland.
Wet and cloud in Denmark. Gales in the Baltic States. These gales extend to Finland with heavy periods of rain. Showers for Sweden, some heavy and wintry. Windy and unsettled with snow showers in Norway.
