Murky and damp, periods of rain, mostly in the west and lots of fog shrouding hills

A wet, murky morning in much of England, Wales and Ireland, most of the rain in Wales, the western Midlands and eastern Ireland. Drizzle and mist in eastern England too with much drizzle and fog affecting southern coasts of England. Brighter and dry in northern Scotland with lots of sunshine, cloud and dry weather in the south.

Wet in southern and western Scotland. Murky and drizzly in western England with fog on coasts and hills. Cloudy and windy for central and eastern England, drizzle over southern coasts. Staying dry in northern Scotland although cloudy.

Rain passes east during tonight. Showers in Northern England and Wales, the rain lasting in southeast England. Further rain in central and northern Scotland. Drier southern Scotland and Ireland.
