Rain arrives in southern Scotland through the morning. This afternoon is wet for most, some heavy periods of rai and fog open hills. Staying drier in the far north of Scotland. Drier too for east Anglia and the southeast although cloudy. Mild for many with tops at 14C, although 8C in the far north of Scotland.
Tuesday Night Rain passes east through tonight, with drier weather flowing from the west, although some showers in Wales and northwest England. Rain in central and northern Scotland, heavy at times. Clearer skies and dry weather develops in Ireland. Lows at 5C under the clearer skies in Ireland and Scotland, 11C in southern England.
Wednesday Low pressure clears east of Scotland on Wednesday. Cloud and periods of rain in Scotland, turning colder in the north. Rain and cloud in southern Wales and southern England with low cloud and mist on coasts. The rain in the southwest may become heavier. Staying mild for much of England and Wales with highs at 14C in southern England, 9C in northern Scotland.
Thursday Rain and cloud through Northern Ireland and northern England as well as southern Scotland. Drier and very mild with more cloud shrouding coasts and hills in England, Wales and Ireland. Colder for Scotland with brighter spells developing here. Showers in the far north, especially on hills with a few of these turning wintry. Highs at 7C in northern Scotland, 16C in southern England.
